The Japanese Rabbit Head graphic was designed in 2016, inspired by the international reach of Playboy’s American legacy. It has been a brand staple for the Playboy Shop.

When Playboy relaunched its e-commerce platform in September 2020, the Japanese Rabbit Head graphic was printed on everything from hoodies to hats. It went on to be in the Top 10 products based off consumer spending week over week and generated $2.1M net revenue since 2020. It has inspired partners and licensees, such as Color Bars, to create their own Tokyo-inspired collections.
